Little cat 

 

Inside of a small house with a green couch against the back wall, a yellow mustard chair in the corner and a short coffee table in the middle of the room sitting on a brown flowered rug, there was a cat that lived in the house, the cat was small and grey with green eyes. The cat lives with an old lady that has white curly hair, a wrinkly face and is always slightly hunched over wearing a light pink night gown. The old lady fed the cat 3 times a day and had a young girl come to clean the cat litter every other day after she was done cleaning the rest of the house. The little cat had a dream but the old lady kept him inside and never let it out, all the cat wanted to do was go outside and live away from the old lady and her constant touching and petting of the cat, the cat wanted to live on its own. The cat got an idea one night while laying in bed with the old lady that had her arm around the cat, the cat was going to finally get outside and the old women wasn’t going to stop it this time. After the cleaning lady had finished cleaning the cat litter, the cat hid behind a pair of boots sitting beside the front door and when the cleaning lady opened the door to leave the cat dashed out the door and didn’t stop running until lit knew it was far enough away that it wouldn’t get caught and brought back to the old ladies small house. Back at the house the old lady was looking everywhere for her cat, she looked behind the couch and under the chair, she looked in every spot she could but didn’t find her cat so she sat on the couch and looked at a framed picture of her and her cat. The cat was however outside, it had freedom and it ran around and climbed a tree and chased a squirrel, the cat didn’t ever want to go back inside. It’s getting late and the cat finds a place in a bush to sleep for the night, but it couldn’t fall asleep all it could think about was the old lady and how much she took care of it. The cat missed her company and decided to go back to her, she was most likely looking for me anyways, he thought.

When the cat returned home it started scratching at the door but nobody answered so it went to the window and looked in, the old lady was sitting on the couch with a framed picture of them together. The cat scratched at the window until the old lady noticed and she walked over and opened the window to let the cat in, she picked the cat up and hugged it in joy. The little cat realized how much it liked the old ladies company and the cat never tried to escape again.
